In collaboration with the Center for Historical, Anthropological and Cultural Research of Panama and the University of the North of Barranquilla, this international conference will bring together leading experts in historical archeology, offering an overview of the current state of the discipline in Latin America. The event will take place from today, May 21 to 23, in the Auditorium of the Panama Canal Museum, Casco Antiguo.<\/span><\/p>\n The II Meeting of Latin American Historical Archeology constitutes an unprecedented platform for academic exchange and cooperation between professionals interested in the study of historical archeology in the region. For three days, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the most recent advances in research carried out by international experts, generating an enriching dialogue that will contribute to the advancement of knowledge in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n On this special occasion, a well-deserved tribute is paid to one of the most prominent figures in the historical archeology of Latin America, Dr. Beatriz Rovira, Head of the University of Panama and Founder of the Panama Viejo Archaeological Project.
